Pitchfork has dug up the crappiest album covers of 2008. I don’t know. I must admit that here are some really lazy/awful designs this year but I think the one above could be one of the BEST ALBUM COVERS OF ALL TIME!!1! OMG!!.

My god, that one has it all – tiger, spaceships, vaguely Roger Dean-esque art, hideous title. Throw in a couple of vikings and I am SOLD.
Don’t forget the erupting volcano and the Labyrinth-like orb. And WTF is up with that hair cut?!?! God, the more I look at it, the harder I find it to look away…
I didn’t know Brad Pitt had a band.
